The following terms are applicable to any products that are purchased via the Website. We have a 14-day return policy. To be eligible for a return for a refund, please make sure that the products are: not damaged, scratched or soiled, unused with all original tags intact and attached thereto, and in the original packaging (where provided, any packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags and additional tags should be included therein). You can always contact us for any return question via our email address: info@baibabalta.com.

Please let us know in case you wish to receive the refund in a gift card form – we would be happy to have you choosing something else.  If you want your money back we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund went successfully. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Please note that the products made to your specifications, bespoke, engraved or clearly personalised cannot be returned nor refunded. Earrings also cannot be returned or refunded for hygiene reasons.

Customs & Imports duty charges do not apply to customers in the European Union. We are not responsible and do not pay for the costs (ex. customs and VAT) that may occur when sending you a product or when we receive a return from a country outside of the EU. Please be aware that you might be required to pay Customs & Import duties when you accept delivery of the items from your selected delivery provider.

- always keep your jewellery stored separately in fabric-lined pouches or boxes to avoid spinning and scratches.

- avoid contact with perfumes, chlorine, lotions, hairspray, cosmetics, detergents and other chemicals as this may affect the colour or lustre.

- be careful when wearing your chains, try not to get stuck with them or pull them.

- remove your jewellery when bathing, exercising, doing housework, overnight etc. to avoid bending, scratching or losing it.

- avoid storing diamonds together, as they can scratch each other.

- pearls do best in a moist environment, so wearing them frequently keeps them from drying out.

A jewellery cleaning cloth will be included with every purchase. Always start cleaning with it and you probably won’t need to use other jewellery cleaning methods.

Mix a small amount of mild dish detergent with warm water in a bowl. Put the jewellery into the bowl and let sit for a few minutes. Use a soft brush to gently scrub the jewellery. Remove the item from soapy water, rinse it and dry thoroughly with a soft polishing cloth.

You can also use a polishing kit for extra shine and to remove any tarnish. (Sometimes 14k gold can tarnish a bit - particularly on earrings and the inside of rings - depending on your skin chemistry, but it is a very easy fix.)

Silver tarnishes quite quickly when it comes into contact with oxygen or sulphur. Happily, the best measure to prevent this is wearing your silver jewellery often. The oils in your skin help prevent tarnish. (This varies depending on your own body chemistry.)

When storing your silver jewellery, use an airtight plastic and if you can, put in a piece of chalk or a silica gel- these will help prevent tarnish while you are not wearing your silver.

If your silver is tarnished the best way to clean it is with a jewellery polishing cloth. A jewellery cleaning cloth will be included with every purchase. Always start cleaning with it and you probably won’t need to use other jewellery cleaning methods.

There are also many viable home remedies for cleaning silver online. Just remember that silver is very soft so use something like a very soft brush to avoid scratching.

Despite being rather sensitive beauties, pearls love being worn!! They don't like being stored away and their intrinsic lustre and glow will only improve when worn regularly.

However, they do need proper care to last many many lifetimes. Pearls are more vulnerable to the chemicals found in cosmetics, hair spray, hair dye, and perfume. And pearls do NOT like chlorine - neither in swimming pools or even regular showers. Do all your primping before you put your pearls on.

Pearls should ONLY be cleaned with a soft cloth moistened with water and a little bit of soap.

Note: pearls improve with wear, gaining lustre from the natural oils in skin. So please, wear your pearls every day.

Once a year we accept all jewellery of our brand to be cleaned and polished free of charge. We check the fastenings, connections and gem mounts.
